We’re searching for a Technical Documentation and Production Specialist
We are seeking an organized and thorough Technical Documentation and Production Specialist. You will manage all technical documentation related to our outsourced production operations. This means making sure all technical documentation is accurate, up-to-date and readily available to our customers and our production team in Thailand. You will also be responsible for facilitating the external production workflows.
You will work closely with our Product Development department and our Supply Chain Manager to develop systems to handle the tasks efficiently, and to support the production and sales teams in optimizing our products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems and processes for efficient generation and management of technical documentation based on generic design handover from Product Development.
- Develop a product configurator to handle variations within our base products and generate both customer documentation and production documentation directly.
- Manage all technical documentation related to our outsourced production operations in Thailand. This includes product specifications, technical drawings, quality control procedures and other technical documentation as needed.
- Work closely with our Product Development department to optimize our products for production. This includes product maturing, production process design, assembly manuals and test systems implementation.
- Collaborate with our supply chain manager and our outsourced production partner in Thailand to clarify technical requirements, resolve technical issues, and support production start-up and training for new products.
- Support our sales team by providing technical documentation and customizations within defined variation parameters, and also RMA handling.
- Collaborate with our product development department on North Invent internal zero series and small-scale production runs.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute technical documentation-related tasks within specified timelines and budgets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD software (SolidWorks), and automation software (DriveWorks).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical documentation coordination or related field.
- Strong knowledge of technical documentation best practices and quality control procedures for outsourced production.
- Experience in developing processes and systems to efficiently manage technical documentation related to outsourced production.
- Experience developing product configurators to handle a high level of variation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in project management, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Experience in working with outsourced production partners is a plus.

We’re searching for a Supply Chain Manager for Outsourced Production
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee our outsourced production operations in Thailand. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process for our outsourced production, from procurement of raw materials to final delivery of finished products, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end supply chain process for outsourced production in Thailand, including forecasting, procurement, planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements, and develop and maintain QA procedures to guarantee the highest quality products.
- Work closely with our partner in Thailand to ensure that sufficient capacity is available, timely and accurate delivery of materials and negotiate favorable terms to optimize costs.
- Monitor production performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste in our outsourced production operations in Thailand.
- Establish and maintain relationships with our partners in Thailand to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the outsourced production process.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies for new product launches, product changes, and supply chain optimization for our outsourced production in Thailand.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Significant experience can compensate for lack of formal qualifications.
- Experience from working with international suppliers and logistics providers.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices and QA procedures for outsourced production.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple outsourced production projects simultaneously.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and / or supply chain management software for outsourced production
- Willingness to travel to Thailand and other countries as needed

Responsibilities for the position
- Internal testing and verification of product functionality
- Participation in testing at accredited laboratories, pertaining to product certification
- Development of test systems (HW & SW)
- Preparing documentation for use in manuals and application notes
- Technical customer support, including service visits to customers primarily in Europe
Your background
You are a formally trained electronic technician, or you have experience from the electronics industry. We expect you to be an engaged and responsible coworker who is not afraid of putting in that extra effort when necessary. You must be systematic, patient and good at structuring and documenting your work. You will be working together with our colleagues in Norway, our production unit in Bangkok, and our customers from all over the world, so you need to be able to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing. You have a familiarity with electronics workshops, and with the product documentation forming the basis of electrical devices.
